The founder, her foundation and her Dream.
Candy Daniels grew up in Sri Lanka, with a vivid imagination of heaven and what it would look like living each day with Jesus. Her day-dreaming turned to conversations with Jesus and declarations how she was going to live as far as possible like heaven was on earth. She was witness to many lives being changed once they discovered Jesus Christ. Yet, the heaven on earth was seeing lives transformed once they chose to live with Jesus by their side. In her early teens she immigrated to Australia with her parents and brother. By this time Candy had established a secure foundation in her identity and relationship with Christ. The transition into her new world had challengers, but one thing remainded consistent and that was the Jesus she knew and the relationship they had and her imagination.
In her early twenties she married and had two daughters. Life was going just as she had imagined with a few unplanned challengers. These challengers made her stronger in her faith in Jesus as the foundation stayed secure. At this point Candy felt she was living the dream. Yet, she also realised that many didn't have a dream because for some they were stuck in the past, confused by the present and others had no hope for their future.
After a promping from the Holy Spirit and conversation with Jesus, Candy went back to study and completed her study in counselling. Candy had a desire to encourage and equip individuals to live life to the fullest. Daily finding hope and living with a heart of gratitude even in the midst of the unknown. During this time Candy encounterd her biggest (to-date) challenge and was diagnosed with a chronic physical condition. In the early stages of this challenge as she held on to her faith and foundation, a dream began to take shape. Her health challengers meant she needed to learn how to navigate her new world and God wasn't done with her yet.
Drafting the Dream
Through her experience she found that no one needs to feel or live like they are incomplete or lacking due to any disease or infirmity be it physical, mental, spiritual or social. Candy believes that living a balanced holistic lifestyle is essential for living and thriving in life. By this time her imagination had turned to casting vision and one day she set out with the logo that was birthed out of a dream.
The Logo
The word LIFE stands for Living In Fathers Eyes. The word signifies that there is capacity for growth, purpose and continual change 'IF' (the word at the centre of life) we understand the love of God towards each individual (John 3:16).
The tree represents a florishing life of a individual who is grounded in their identity in Christ. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we can live life to the fullest (John 10:10).
The river represents water as the source of life. Every living organism requires water to survive. The Holy Spirit leads us to knowing Jesus and establishing us in our identity in Christ, while equipping us to live daily. If you consider a river it doesn't stop flowing becasue of any obsitcle that gets placed in its path, instead it finds a new path to keep moving forward.

With the purpose of enhancing life skills and nurturing spiritual care/development.
Today the LIFE publication is distributed online with subscribers from many countries. 2019 Life International became an incorporated association as the vision expanded to become more than a publication. Life International contiues to grow in building relationships and fulfilling its purpose through life skills training and pastoral care support. Candy believes that each individual has the potential to be as "a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season" (Psalm 1:3).
Candy chooses to walk one step and one day at a time with her focus on Jesus. She has overcome and leaned to manage the obstacles on the journey. She enjoys camping getaways with her husband (which is part of her favourite self-care routine), being creative, reading, being in nature and having quality time with those close to her.
